Stylish actress Deepika Padukone has recently nailed the Met Gala event in New York with her smashing red dress. Though she went against the theme yet she was looking super sexy in bright red flaming look. Being a fan of DP, I feel deeply from the heart that she is the real fashion icon of Bollywood who never shy away from experimenting unique, sometimes queer outfits.
However, getting trolled on her Met Gala look, Deepika gave another chance to the audience to make a troll on her once again. What she has done is that she repeated the same outfit at the after party that she has already worn before. She chose to wear a mustard colored velvet blazer with a black belt clinching the waist. Earlier we have seen her wearing the same blazer at another event in January, this year. At that time she teamed up this piece with rugged denims and big ear loops. This time she put it up with black shinning leggings. Both the times she smashed the look in her own way.
Earlier in January
Well, it’s quite strange that a celebrity repeats the look, that too at such a big event. There is a possibility that this outfit would be one of the favorites of this darling lady who loves to wear it with different hair dos and make up. Others may be slamming Deepika for this repetition but I feel that it's her own choice.
This is not the first time that she repeated her favorites. Earlier also she did this without being scared of being trolled. Here are some of the pictures:
At HT Style Awards
At Friend's Wedding
Another instance when she repeated her outfit-
Trailor Launch of Chennai Express
Special screening of Padmavat
This is her bold nature that makes her do what she likes; otherwise choosing something like this specially, in the glamour world is not that easy. However, it’s just a cake walk for Deepika.
We applaud DP for this daring step. She inspires us to live up to our decisions and choices in life.
Three cheers to Deepika!
