Sacred Games is the latest rage that is taking over us. Once again we are hooked to a series so much that is has become almost impossible to wait for its next season. The web series has received great love from the audience and got critical acclaim too. Even The UP Police is following the show which we know because of their recent tweet that had Scared Games reference.

The character of Gaitonde essayed by Nawazuddin is being loved by everyone and a lot of people are just ranting his dialogues like some mantra. Okay, so the first season of Sacred Games garnered an overwhelming response by fans and it was so good that now no one can wait patiently for the second season. The makers of the series have not yet announced anything officially about the second season which is making our heartache.

But here is an exciting thing, Pankaj Tripathi who was seen essaying the role of Guruji in the first season revealed some interesting things about his character and we can’t keep calm about it. Pankaj Tripathi is a very talented actor who always wins our hearts with his acting skills and unforgettable characters. He didn’t miss to impress us in the first season of Sacred Games as well.

Now reports suggest that Guruji aka Gaitonde’s Teesra Baap will be seen as the mastermind behind the whole plot. During an interview with a leading daily, Pankaj Tripathi said,

“Guruji is a larger-than-life part and will become the most sought-after character in the series. My character becomes as big as Gaitonde.”

While talking about his experience with the whole team, he said,

“Anurag (Kashyap), Vikram (Vikramaditya Motwane) and Varun (Grover) know me for many years now. I simply followed the brief they gave me. It was a brilliant experience to do this show. I even dubbed the lines in English.”
Also, we found out that Pankaj and Nawaz know each other for a very long time.
Talking about Nawaz, Pankaj said:

“Nawaz bhai and I lived in the same hostel at the NSD (National School Of Drama). We admire each other’s work. Since we come from the same acting background, our approach to work is similar. We have been taught by the same people. When we meet, we hardly talk work, we reminisce about the old times.”

Well, all these things have made us more interested and more impatient about the second season.
