Superstar Aamir Khan needs no introduction, he has been in the industry spreading his charisma for over three decades now. He has made some of India’s most influential films that were both classy and massy at the same time.
But, there is also another side of this ‘through-out winner’ and it is his despair that flows in when his films don’t work (although, it is not happening in recent times, LOL!). In an interview with PTI, the actor reveals: "I want to go with my conviction while making a film and if there is a loss, I will mourn that also. I cry when my films don't work."
The superstar made his debut in 1988 with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and went on to star in blockbusters like Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Rangeela, Lagaan, Rang De Basanti, Ghajini, 3 Idiots, PK and Dangal to name a few.
Aamir Khan also revealed that it is just not him but the creative effort of the whole team that makes a film do wonders at the box office, he commented: "I often get the credit... It is a coincidence to a certain extent that my films have been successful. The fact is that the story is written by a writer and then has grown organically."
"Filmmaking is a collaborative process and if any aspect -- be it the script, casting, location, sound design, editing or marketing -- fails, it will not work. For a film to be successful, it is important to hit the ball in the centre," Aamir concluded.
