I guess each one of you have already seen the trailer and song of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi and it looks like the second installment of this movie is ready to take us on a joyous ride again. The cast is almost similar to the first part of the movie. We have seen everyone in the trailer starting from Diana Penty to Ali Fazal, and Jimmy Shergill. Sonakshi Sinha is a new addition to the movie.

One thing which is missing in the second installment is the presence of Abhay Deol. The fans of this movie are also asking questions about his presence.

Abhay’s character Bilal was one of my favourites in the movie and I would have loved to see him again this time. The director of Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi Mudassar Aziz revealed that, Abhay will be a crucial part of the movie but only in conversations.

So Bilal is not completely absent in the movie as he will be mentioned in the conversations.
Mudassar said,
“Geographically, my characters are in such a place where Bilal cannot be. However, he is spoken about throughout the film. He is one of the root causes of conflict in this offering.”
He also revealed that there was a big discussion if Abhay should be a part of this movie and the team decided against it,
“Rai sahab [Aanand L Rai, producer] and I concluded that it would be better if Bilal was represented only in conversations between the rest of the characters. He is omnipresent, yet physically absent.”
There is no bad blood between the actor and director because of this decision:
“Abhay is a darling. I don’t need to ‘work it out’ with him. Also, who says he isn’t there in part three?”
So there is going to be a third part as well.
