Just a day after we celebrated our 72 years of Independence, our former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee left us. Vajpayee died at the age of 93. He was admitted in AIIMS hospital on June 11 because of Kidney tract infection, chest congestion and because his urine output was on the lower side. On Thursday AIIMS hospital announced the death of Vajpayee.


AIIMS gave a statement which read, "It is with profound grief that we inform about the sad demise of Former Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, at 05:05 PM." The statement further clarified that his condition was stable for nine-week but unfortunately it deteriorated over the last 36 hours and he was then put on life support. "deteriorated over the last 36 hours and he was put on life support systems. Despite the best of efforts, we have lost him today. We join the Nation in deeply mourning this great loss."
The whole nation is deeply mourning this loss. As the news of his demise spread condolences from all parts of the world started coming. Bollywood celebs took to social media to mourn the loss of a great leader. From celebs to fans, a sea of condolence messages flooded the social networking sites.
