Salman Khan is still recovering from the massive shock that he had to face after the debacle of Race 3. The film collected just 170 crores at box office which is way too bad if we consider Salman Khan’s last releases, the movie was massively panned by critics as well. The film had two week to play but still it could not bring the audience as the content was outright trashy.
And, this is the reason that Salman Khan is getting very careful about his next film ‘Bhaarat’, he is leaving no stone unturned to make his next a memorable affair. He surely doesn’t want to serve a dish like Race 3 again. Khan is currently shooting for the second schedule of Bharat in Malta. The film, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is reportedly in Salman's hands now.
A source close to the film stated: "A lot of the problems stemmed from the shoddy script in Race 3. This time Salman and the team have spent more time on the writing than on any other film. Also, in terms of political resonance, Bharat is Salman Khan's most important film to date. Director Ali Abbas Zafar is consulting eminent Indian historians for detailed data on post-Partition India."
The film is very special to Salman Khan as it will be the first time that he will be playing 5 different roles in the film. The film will trace his character’s journey alongside the country.
The source also said: "This is not the time-pass world of Race 3. Salman can't afford to get any details wrong in Bharat. He won't be spared by academicians, intellectuals and activists if he slips up. In Bharat, he is being extra-cautious."
Salman recently unveiled the teaser of Bharat. The film is set for a release on Eid 2019.
