Love, Simon is available on Netflix. It was released in 2018. The story is about a boy named Simon who hides his sexuality from the world and from himself. But when the secret gets jeopardize, he has to face the truth and reveal it.
The Danish Girl
Released in 2015, The Danish Girl beautifully showcases the horrific side of the society and how they treat transgenders. The story is inspired by Danish artist Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener, who was married. And how Gerda learns about Lili’s journey as a transgender.
Blue Is The Warmest Color
Released in 2013, this movie is about a girl named Adele and her journey towards exploring her sexuality. Adele tries to date a few men but she isn’t interested in them. Then she meets Emma who helps her confront the truth and they grow fond of each other.
