Recently Tanushree Dutta started the #MeToo movement in India by opening up about the sexual harassment she went through on the sets of a movie with Nana Patekar. In 2008 Tanushree spoke about this horrific incident but nothing happened and now in 2018 she is back to get justice. The actress said that Nana Patekar along with choreographer Ganesh Acharya and the producer of the movie Sami Siddiqui harassed her and tried to touch her inappropriately.

After this horrific news coming out and making it to all the news channels and social media platforms, a lot of people are coming forward in Tanushree’s support. Patekar has not given any kind of clarification on it yet. But a video has been going viral on social media platforms where we can see Dimple Kapadia giving an interview and talking about Nana Patekar.

This video is eight years old and Dimple while talking about Nana Patekar during this interview called him obnoxious.

When she was asked if she meant it in a good way or a bad way, she hesitated and said,
“In a good and a bad way.”
Further Dimple said that even though Nana Patekar is an extremely talented actor he has a dark side too.
“As far as his talent goes, there’s no match to him. He is an extremely talented man. When I see talent like him, sau khoon bhi maaf hai. Sab kuch maaf hai. Meri jaan bhi lelo. That’s the effect he has on me. But, as a person, with me he has been very, very nice, kind and a good friend. But I have also seen his terrible side… the dark side. We all have a dark side which is nicely and safely kept aside.”
